Day 1: Kampala-Murchison Falls
You will be picked your hotel or place of residence. Begin the panoramic
drive north-west through the famous Luwero Triangle and, travel to
Masindi via Ziwa Rhino Project. A visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for
Rhino trekking is a must. After lunch, a stopover at the Boomu women
community project is encouraging thereafter drive to Murchison at the
spectacularly situated site at the top of the fall where you can see the
Nile’s beauty perfected!! Marvel at the Nile, compressing from up to 1
km squeeze through a 7 meter canyon dropping 45 meters with a thunderous
roar creating a beautiful rainbow, a plume of spray and the best thing
that happened to the Nile…”the Murchison Falls “. Enjoy the sunset as
you drive to Paara Safari Lodge/ Nile Safari Lodge (Lodge facility) or
Red Chili camp site (Budget Facility) for overnight and dinner. Meal

Day 2: Murchison Falls
Begin the day with a cup of African Coffee ready for an early morning
game drive. Your guide will help you spot Elephant, Lion, Cape buffalo,
Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor
reedbuck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. Return to the hotel
for breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon you make a boat trip towards
the Murchison Falls. Carefully watched by crocodiles, hundreds of
hippos, buffaloes, water birds, apes and all the other thirsty wildlife
that the Nile attracts you go to the bottom of the 43 meters high and
famous Murchison Falls, which approaches you with a thunderous sound. a
narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing
pool 43m below. This is also a zone of many bird species like Goliath
heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill,
cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. Paara Safari Lodge/ Nile Safari

Day 3: Murchison Falls-Kibale Forest National Park
All day drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant countryside
and past traditional homesteads and farms along Albertine Rift
escarpments. Fort-Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of
the Moon Meals and overnight at Kyaninga Lodge/Ndali Safari Lodge/
Primate Lodge (Lodge facility) or Chimps Nest/Chimpanzee guest house

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking Kibale Forest National Park-Bwindi
Half day search of chimpanzee and 10 other primate including phoestes,
red Colobus, blues, and red tailed and grey cheeked mangabey. The guide
will provide detailed explanations, not only on primates, but also on
all the forest fauna and flora and will ensure that your walk is both
informative and enjoyable. This walk is excellent for viewing bird life
and seeing primates at close quarters. After lunch, proceed to Bwindi
via Queen Elizabeth National Park and here you may spot many wildlife
including Elephants, Buffaloes, among others. This is the lushest
highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds,
valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. Meals and overnight at Buhoma
Lodge/Mahogany springs/Engagi Lodge (lodge facility) or Buhoma Community
Bandas/Bwindi View Bandas (Budget facility) Meal plan Lunch and Dinner
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking Bwindi
Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 am
with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain
jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc The guides will lead
you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been
booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary
gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most
exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2
and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort. The afternoon is spent on a
foot safari around the local communities living around the park. Meals
and overnight at Buhoma Lodge/Mahogany springs/Engagi Lodge (lodge
facility) or Buhoma Community Bandas/Bwindi View Bandas (Budget

Day 6: Bwindi-Kampala/Entebbe
Return to Kampala, then Entebbe, with lunch enroute and stop over at
Igongo cultural centre and the Equator Uganda before your evening
departures home. End of services.
