2: Mount
Kenya -
Samburu
National
Reserve,
Kenya
Drive further north through the Equator to the semi-arid northern frontier district and on to Samburu National Reserve for lunch. Afternoon game drive in this reserve famous for its exclusive game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge,B,L,D. - Day 3 : Samburu Game Reserve, Kenya
Full day of game viewing drives in this dry semi-arid park with its striking background view of the Mathew's Range. The gently flowing Uaso Nyiro river which traverses this Park provides evergreen vegetation for the rare gerenuk, Grevy zebra and reticulated giraffe found in this park. Optional visit to a local Samburu village at $25 per person. All meals and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge, B,L,D. - Day 4: Samburu - Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary, Kenya
- After breakfast, drive to this private game sanctuary. Arrive in time for lunch at Sweetwaters Tented Camp. Afternoon is free for optional activities as game viewing, walking safaris or night game drives. Overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp, L,D.

- Full day spent at Sweetwaters with two game drives - morning and afternoon. Visits to the tame Rhino 'Morani' and the Chimpanzee Sanctuary at Jane Goodall Institute are included. Optional night game drive, nature walk or camel ride can be arranged at an extra cost. All meals and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp, B,L,D.
- Day 6: Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary to Nairobi, Kenya
Morning game viewing. After breakfast, return to Nairobi to arrive just before lunch where the tour ends, B.

0900hrs: Depart to Mount Kenya National Park located north of Nairobi through the central Kenya farmlands of coffee and pineapple plantations. Arrive at Mountain Lodge Serena for lunch. Afternoon leisure game viewing from the lodge as animals come to drink at the lodge's floodlit waterhole. Day 4: Samburu - Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya
Morning game viewing. Transfer to the airstrip for a light aircraft over the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara. Transfer to your lodge for lunch and afternoon leisure game viewing. Masai Mara National Reserve is a pristine wilderness of haunting beauty, it promises its visitors a profusion of wildlife, prolific bird life and the unprecedented opportunity of catching up with all the members of the 'Big Five' in one morning. The 1,800 sq kilometres of this veteran reserve offers the classic mix of African imagery; miles of lion-gold grasslands, shoals of lilac-misted hills, a meandering river, acres of thorn-bush and mile upon mile of undulating wilderness. The Mara Serena Lodge is built in a traditional Maasai Manyatta village of domed huts, depicting a true Maasai lifestyle blending in very well with the environment. Day 5: Masai Mara
